Do you have an idea for a presentation, panel, performance, or workshop? We want to hear your proposals!
Anything related to Oz is fair game, and we welcome ideas about non-traditional or creative formats as well. We especially welcome proposals related to the following themes of the conference and interests of our members:
- Oz and Philadelphia
- John R. Neill
- Ruth Plumly Thompson
- Maxfield Parrish
- W.W. Denslow
- Collecting and collectibles
- The MGM film
- The art of Oz
- Oz and the city
- Fandom, community, and participation
- The ongoing story of Oz through adaptations, continuations, fanfiction, translation, and transformation
Submit your proposal using the form below. If you have questions or prefer to submit by email, please contact convention co-chair Ryan Bunch at firstname.lastname@example.org. Proposals will be accepted continuously until summer 2016, but submitting early will increase your chances of acceptance. Proposals will be evaluated by a program selection committee.
Provide a description of up to 500 words. For individual presentations, an abstract or summary of your presentation is helpful. You might also include a brief biography or summary of your qualifications (or those of your group or of someone else you have in mind). You may either type your proposal in the box below or upload it as Word document or PDF. If you have any supporting documents you’d like to send along with your proposal, those may be uploaded here as well.
